1. Who we are
Wizea Technology Limited ("Wizea", "we"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Company No. 3329284) with its registered office at 19/F, Shun Feng International Centre, 182 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, is the data user (controller) of the personal data collected through wizea.com.hk and through the e-mail addresses on this site. Fields marked as required are needed to answer your request; without them we cannot respond. We do not collect personal data for marketing from this site and we do not run newsletters from it.
3. Who receives your data
Service providers that help us operate, under confidentiality and only to the extent needed: hosting and e-mail providers, the form-processing provider for this site, and, for supplier submissions, file-scanning services. Our Shenzhen sourcing office processes supplier submissions and quotation requests as part of Wizea's operations. We do not sell personal data. We do not share your files or your identity with any factory or supplier beyond what an order you have placed requires, and then with your identity withheld unless you agree otherwise. If you contact us by WhatsApp or WeChat, the provider of that service also processes your messages under its own terms.
4. International transfers
Your data is processed in Hong Kong and, for sourcing operations, in mainland China; service providers may process it in the United States or the European Union. Personal data of contacts in mainland China submitted to us is transferred to Hong Kong as necessary for the pre-contractual steps you request, consistent with the Personal Information Protection Law. Where the law of your country requires a transfer mechanism, we use standard contractual clauses or another lawful mechanism.
5. Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may request access to and correction of your personal data. Where the law of your country provides it (for example the GDPR for persons in the European Union), you may also request deletion, portability, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent. Write to privacy@wizea.com.hk; we reply within the legal deadlines. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong, or to the data protection authority of your country.
6. Security and confidentiality
We use encrypted connections, access control and multi-factor authentication on our systems. Files you upload are scanned on receipt and stored on access-controlled systems. Drawings, BOMs and other files are treated as confidential and used only to prepare your quotation or perform your order. Supplier documents, photos and videos are not shared with third parties, including our customers, without the supplier's written authorisation.
8. Direct marketing
We do not use personal data collected through this site for direct marketing. If we ever propose to, we will ask for your consent first, as the Ordinance requires, and you may opt out at any time.
9. Changes to this policy
Changes are published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes to how we use data already collected are notified to the persons concerned.
