Hard-to-find components are parts on allocation, in shortage or past end-of-life, needed sooner than the authorised channel can deliver. Wizea searches for them worldwide, states the type of source on each quotation line and inspects each lot in Shenzhen before shipment under controls aligned with SAE AS6081A, with tests to SAE AS6171A methods through independent laboratories when the risk requires them.

Fast, and checked before it ships

We start searching the day your list arrives; urgent lines are worked first. The manufacturer and its authorised channels come first, then screened independent sources worldwide. We are an active member of an established independent-distribution trading platform; membership details are available on request.

Duplicate offers of the same lot are merged, so you see each lot once, with price, quantity, lead time and validity on one line. Each line is quoted with its validity; the price holds until that date while the lot is available. You decide on a documented offer.

Families we search most

From single ICs to legacy spares

  • ICs: microcontrollers, analog, interface and memory
  • Discrete semiconductors and power modules
  • Passives
  • Connectors
  • Server and computing spares
  • Legacy and end-of-life lines

Small quantities and short lists are quoted with the same care, including for repair and maintenance of installed equipment; the MOQ is the source's, stated per line. Send a short list as often as your workshop needs: each list is quoted line by line, the same way. For an end-of-life line we also quote bridge quantities while your main source recovers, with date-code acceptance agreed on the quotation. If no traceable source fits your date, we propose alternatives line by line, for your engineering's written approval.

Before shipment

Inspected before it ships

Lots are inspected before shipment; a lot that does not pass does not ship. Controls aligned with SAE AS6081A; tests to SAE AS6171A methods through independent laboratories when the risk requires them.

  • Source discipline
  • Inspection before dispatch
  • Laboratory tests
Experience behind each search

Searched worldwide from our Shenzhen team

  • Since 2001Our founders have been buying electronic components since 2001: more than 40 years of combined experience.

Three counterfeit-avoidance layers

  1. Source discipline

The type of source and the country of origin are stated on each line.

Manufacturer and authorised channels first, then screened independent sources. You may restrict any order to manufacturer and authorised sources.

Quotation line with kind of source
  2. Inspection before dispatch

Controls aligned with SAE AS6081A, not certified to it.

Visual and marking inspection, packaging, date and lot codes, moisture-sensitive handling, chain of custody where available. Depth set by source category and part history.

    Inspection before shipment
  3. Laboratory tests

Tests to SAE AS6171A methods through independent laboratories, when the value, the source or the application makes them worthwhile.

Marking permanence, XRF, X-ray, decapsulation, electrical test. We tell you before payment when a lot goes to a laboratory.

    Independent laboratory tests
Quarantine

Parts that do not pass inspection are quarantined and kept out of shipments.

Each finding is recorded and shapes how we treat that source in future.

With the lot

  • The quotation line, with country of origin and kind of source.
  • Commercial invoice and packing list from Wizea Technology Limited, Hong Kong; other documents as agreed on the order.

Lots are consolidated in Shenzhen with the rest of your order and handed over at the point on the quotation. We let you know when your agent has collected and stay in touch until your goods arrive.

Send your request

A short list is enough

Send part reference, quantity, need-by date and a datasheet if you have one, in any format. Our template keeps one line per item if you prefer structure. Your file is treated as confidential.

FAQ

Questions about hard-to-find parts

How fast can you quote a shortage part?

We start searching the day your list arrives, and lines flagged as urgent are worked first. Each offer comes with price, quantity, source category, lead time and validity, so you can decide quickly. Timing depends on the part and the market; results are shared with you at the agreed milestones.

What happens if a lot does not pass inspection?

Lots are inspected before shipment; a lot that does not pass does not ship. We tell you, and the line is searched again or cancelled, as agreed with you.

Where can I buy obsolete electronic components?

After the last-time-buy window closes, obsolete parts come from the open market: OEM and EMS excess, authorised distributors' remaining inventory and independent distributors. Wizea searches worldwide, states the source on each line, inspects before dispatch and orders laboratory tests when the risk requires them.

What is the difference between an independent distributor and a broker?

An independent distributor buys and sells outside the franchised channel under a documented quality system: inspection, traceability, quarantine. Wizea does so under an ISO 9001:2015-certified system, with controls aligned with SAE AS6081A.

Which checks confirm a part's authenticity?

A combination: the source and its documents, inspection of marking, package, leads and packaging, and laboratory methods where the risk requires them. Together they confirm the part.
