Factory-direct supply means buying a repeat part straight from the factory that makes it, on a schedule, through a partner who qualifies the factory and stays with each lot. Wizea's Shenzhen team qualifies factories in China and Asia, follows production in Mandarin and inspects each lot before handover; our Hong Kong company contracts and invoices.

Factory-direct programmes

The same part, on schedule, for years

Industrial parts run for years, so we plan supply for the long run: set up once, kept running from first builds to volume production.

  • Qualification and samples

The factory approved on documents, samples and an audit visit before the first order.

  • First-article approval

The first article checked against your drawing; series production starts after your written approval.

  • Quality documents

Material, RoHS and REACH declarations, certificates of conformance and first-article records, set up as your programme requires.

  • Capacity check

Capacity checked against your annual quantity before award, and reviewed when your forecast changes.

  • Scheduled call-offs

Delivery dates agreed against your forecast; lots released on that schedule.

  • Production follow-up

Followed in Mandarin by our Shenzhen team, with milestone updates to you.

  • Pre-shipment inspection

Each lot checked against the approved sample before handover.

  • Price reviews

Reviewed with you on an agreed cadence, with the reasons for any change in writing.

  • Second factory

An alternative factory qualified when you want a second source.

  • Consolidation

Programme lots shipped with your other lines: one invoice, one shipment.

We work alongside your procurement team, not instead of it. Large manufacturers with experienced procurement teams, some with buyers in Asia, use us to add factories to their approved base and to open new options on parts they already buy.

Continuity and change control

Planned for the long run

  • Holiday windows

Production planned around Chinese New Year and other holiday windows, with forecast reviews agreed with you.

  • Change notification (PCN)

Changes to material, process or factory notified in advance and made only after your written approval.

  • Split deliveries

One programme can be delivered to two contract assemblers, each with its own packing list and documents. Each delivery is labelled and traceable to its production lot.

  • What we check before approval

Business licence, quality system, capacity and process, then samples and the first article against your drawing.

How we qualify a factory

Four checks before your first order

Each check is completed before the first series order.

  1. 1

    Registry and scope

The business licence is checked against the public registry.

Credit code, registered name and business scope compared with what the factory told you.

  2. 2

    Plant and process

The claimed plant and process are matched to your drawing.

Line photos or video of your type of part, an audit visit when the programme needs it, subcontracted processes named.

  3. 3

    Certificates

Certificates are looked up at the body that issued them.

The scope must cover your process; the body's accreditation is checked too.

  4. 4

    Sample and first article

Samples come from the line that will run your order.

Checked against your drawing, with independent laboratory tests where the specification requires them; one sealed sample at the factory, one with us.

Manufacturer development

Developing a new or alternative manufacturer

For a new part or a second source, we find the factory, qualify it, and then run it as a programme.

Wizea stays your single contracting party for the programme: one contract, one invoice, and quality and claims handled by us. Buyers who need their own factory relationship can commission sourcing and qualification as a separately agreed project, in writing.

  1. FindMap the factories that run your process: region, equipment, certification, export record.
  2. CompareOne specification and one quantity ladder to each candidate, so the answers come back comparable.
  3. QualifyDocuments, an audit visit and a capability review.
  4. Tool and sampleTooling cost and ownership agreed in writing; samples from the production line, checked against your drawing.
  5. First articleChecked against each dimension and requirement before series production.
  6. Follow productionFollowed in Mandarin, with in-factory inspections where agreed and a pre-release inspection.

Represented manufacturers

Wizea represents a small number of Asian manufacturers under written agreements, in connectors and terminal blocks, magnetics, cable assemblies, printed circuit boards and custom industrial parts. A represented line is quoted like any other, with "manufacturer" as its source, and inspected in Shenzhen like any other. The named line card is available to qualified buyers under NDA.

Who is the factory?

For a quotation you get the kind of source, the country of origin and the certifications. At qualification you receive the factory's identity, qualification summary and certificates under NDA, and the qualified part is then supplied through us for the programme. Drawings travel with our title block; your company is named to the factory only if you decide so.

FAQ

Questions about factory-direct supply

Can you supply the same part on a delivery schedule?

Yes. That is a factory-direct programme: factory qualified, schedule agreed against your forecast, capacity checked, each lot inspected in Shenzhen and handed over on the planned dates. Changes only after your written approval.

How are programme prices handled?

Prices are quoted line by line and reviewed with you on an agreed cadence; the reasons for any change are given in writing before it applies.

How do I find a reliable manufacturer in China for electronic components?

Start from the part, not the platform: define specification, quantity and certifications, find manufacturers whose business scope and equipment match, and confirm with documents and samples before any deposit. That is our Shenzhen team's work before the first order.

Can you develop a second source for a part we already buy?

Yes. We send your specification to qualified candidates, compare the answers line by line and take the chosen factory through samples and first article before it supplies your series.
